The Norrids

 Happy 2013! I am officially Katie Betts Norrid! I wanted to share some of the images from our wedding! I have posted some "Details" and some "Getting Ready" shots! We were married October 12th 2012 in Rosemary Beach, Florida and it was everything I had hoped for and MORE!!!!! It was the most fun day of my life! We danced and danced and danced and danced..... The food was outstanding, the band was perfect, the location was dreamy and we were surrounded by the people that mean the world to us! I hope you enjoy! 

I designed our invitations and had them printed at a local print shop in Germantown. We ordered all the paper products from Paper-Source and the labels from Planet Label. My wonderful sisters and parents helped stuff and label and stamp each of them! I love how they turned out!

The hair piece was an antique from my great aunt. 

I was IN-LOVE with my wedding day shoes! They were so comfortable and perfect for me! I highly recommend Badgley Mischka for all you brides out there!

My statement necklace was one of my first purchases. I found this beauty on etsy.com and it was worth every penny! I just LOVE it!

We found my dress at Lowe's Bridal.  We had a great experience and I found the dress for me! I never though I was a sash/belt girl, but I think it made the dress! My wonderful mother made the belt for me, she is amazing!

All the flowers were made by my mother, and I helped a little the night before the wedding! We stayed up late and we were surrounded with flowers, succulents and more. Did I mention that my mother is AMAZING! My "Something Blue" was a dog tag with the names of our basset hounds and our wedding date on it! We love our sweet pups and missed them on our Big Day!

It was an absolutely PERFECT day! This is me right before I got to see my groom for the first time!

My bridesmaids are the Best and Prettiest you can find! I wanted them to choose a dress that they felt comfortable in so they picked out the one they wanted from JCrew

Lately...

Well it has been quite some time since I blogged...

Life has been busy and awesome! I am getting married in 6 days, I have a beautiful nephew, and we have remodeled bathrooms!!!!

Here are a few pictures from the last several months. I really hope I get better at this blogging thing after the wedding!

Baby Gray is on the Way!!

Kinsey, Jake, myself and Baby Gray had a wonderful time taking maternity pictures. Here are just a few from the shoot! I am seriously SO SO SO SO excited to meet my nephew.  We only have 57 more days til he is due! We are accustomed to girls, so we are just beyond thrilled to have this little man join the crew:)

I know one thing for certain... he will be so loved. 

Dear Sweet Baby Gray,

Auntie Kamille and Auntie Katie have big plans for you buddy!

Kamille is going to make sure you are the most fashionable kid around and I am going to take millions and millions of pictures of you being the most fashionable kid around.  Uncle Kyle and Uncle Brennon are going to play baseball with you and your daddy while I take millions and millions of pictures of you playing baseball!

I can't wait for trips to the zoo, redbirds games, beach trips and more! I can't wait to see what Duke thinks of you :) 

I can't wait to get the phone call that you are about to make your debut! What fun times we have ahead. You are one lucky kiddo to have such amazing parents!
